Many cities have theatres, orchestras and sometimes opera companies of their own. Almost all major cities host arts festivals, most being nationally acclaimed. The Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa) is located in Wellington within two hours drive. It highlights New Zealand art and culture, as well as hosting international exhibitions.
